Today I want to talk to you about business fatigue. If you’re not familiar with this concept, it’s when entrepreneurs seem to get bogged down from constantly working overtime or sometimes, they just get a little tired of always having to be the one leading the charge!
Now, I don’t know if this has happened to you, but it has happened to me. So to address this fatigue, I’ve come up with three tips that help me get over these humps in the road and here’s what they are
- On a daily basis, I always try to think about my family and why I’m getting up to go to work. I look to find the joy in what I do and focus on that during the day.
- On a weekly basis I talk to my employees as well as a select group of my peers. We discuss different ways that we can help our clients or our staff, and make plans to put new ideas into action. This keeps things at the office fresh for me.
- Finally, on a quarterly basis I take a pause. I relax, reflect, & reset by either taking a vacation, or just taking a night away with my wife. These breaks away from the office allow me to decompress and ponder other things aside from work.
These are some of the things that I do to help me get over that business fatigue. I hope these tips help you, as they do me!
